INLET DUCT SYSTEM AND INLET AIR FILTERATION SYSTEM

nlet ducting system consists of Expansion Bellows, Ducts, Silencer, Elbow, Transition and support structures.
Silencer, Elbow and Transition Ducts are lined inside with mineral wool and S.S. perforated Sheets. The Silencer is designed to a noise level of 85 dB (A) at a distance of 1 M.

From 1997 onwards, Indira Industries exported Intake systems to USA, UK, Argentina, Europe, Brazil, Qatar, Oman, Thailand and Saudi Arabia through M/s. GE Energy Products, France.

For the past few years, Indira Industries is one of the sourcing partners of GE Energy Products, France for Gas Turbine Intake systems.

EXHAUST DUCTING [Including Bypass Stack]

The Exhaust system consists of Expansion Bellows, Ducts, Silencers, Transition and Bypass Stack. All ducts are made of Carbon Steel plates with adequate stiffeners. Internal insulation is provided by mineral wool and ceramic blanket covered with Stainless Steel cladding sheets. The whole system rests on support structures. The silencer is designed to a noise level of 85 dB (A) at 1m distance or to the customers special requirements.

Indira Industries has introduced the Exhaust System for the first time in India with Technical Know-how from its European principal M/s.G+H SCHALLSCHUTZ, Germany for the Project 2xFr.5 BPCL, Mumbai in 1988. So far Indira Industries has executed around 80 sets of Exhaust Systems for GE Fr.1 to GE Fr.9FA, SIEMENS V94.2 Machines.

Indira Industries has supplied Exhaust system for GE FR.1 to GE FR. 9E through M/s. Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited for various projects in India and Abroad.

This company successfully completed the Revamping and Modification of Exhaust System for GE Fr.5 Gas Turbine on turnkey basis at M/s.Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited, Uran in India. The project was successfully completed within a record period of 8 months and the Erection & Commissioning was completed within 39 days instead of 45 days.

ACOUSTIC ENCLOSURES

Acoustic Enclosures are provided for Gas Turbines and Generators.These Enclosures are either ON Base or OFF Base mounted as per customer’s requirement.These Enclosures are designed for a noise level of 85 dB (A) at 1 M distance.

The purpose of an enclosure is to provide acoustic attenuation of equipment noise, thermal insulation, containment of carbon dioxide or fire protection media during fire fighting system discharge and to present a pleasing appearance to the plant.

Acoustic enclosures for indoor installations are prefabricated according to the customer’s requirements. The company’s range also includes systems satisfying very high acoustical demands, with increased wall thickness and special seals. Acoustic enclosures for outdoor installations are likewise prefabricated for easy dismantling and reassembly. The design of enclosures include integrated plant components such as stacks, ducts and ventilation systems, taking physical and architectural requirements into consideration.

Apart from Gas Turbines, the acoustic enclosures can be provided for many Industrial applications such as Compressors, Diesel generators, Vacuum pumps etc.

DIVERTER DAMPERS

Diverter Dampers are employed in Gas Turbine Power Projects. These dampers are used to divert exhaust gas flow from the gas turbine either to HRSG or to Bypass stack side. The flow can be diverted either partially or fully. The dampers are provided with seals which are designed for 100% leak proof by providing seal air arrangements. These Dampers are operated by Electrical actuators, Hydraulic actuators, Pneumatic cylinders or manually with Gear Box. Dampers can be designed upto 1100 deg.C and pressure upto 5000 mmWC.

GUILLOTINE GATES

Guillotine Dampers are provided for Isolation of flow between HRSG unit and diverter damper. This type of Damper is useful for frequent opening and closing operations requiring robust structure and nearly no maintenance. These dampers are operated manually or electrically.

HEAT RECOVERY STEAM GENERATOR (HRSG) BOILER CASING

HRSG Casing including Boiler Inlet Ducting, Support structures, Platform & Walkways, Ladders etc., are made of Carbon Steel Plates. Internal insulation will be done with Mineral Wool and Ceramic wool covered with Stainless steel Cladding Sheet to maintain the skin temperature of the casing.

BLOW OFF SILENCERS

Blow off Silencers are used to reduce the noise when gas/air/steam is blown off and released to the atmoshphere when operating the compressor, gas turbine, steam pipe lines, jet pumps etc. These Silencers are designed to reduce the noise level to about 25 dBA, 35dBA or 45 dBA depending upon the customer requirements.

These Silencers are used at the inlet of industrial Fans, Blowers, Compressors and gas turbine. The noise level reduction is 50 dB (A) maximum. For high dust media resonator type silencers are used.
